If you’re a spiritual entrepreneur, healer, coach, or conscious creator, chances are you’ve got a powerful message — but getting it out into the world can feel overwhelming. Especially when you’re doing everything solo.

Maybe you’ve thought:

  • “I’m not big enough yet for media coverage.”

  • “I don’t have a publicist or press contacts.”

  • “I don’t even know what I’d pitch.”

Here’s the truth: you don’t need to be famous, have a bestselling book, or hire a big PR agency to start showing up in meaningful media spaces. You just need the right message, the right outlets, and a little strategy.

In my decade-plus career as a PR and communications strategist — from advising global brands to helping spiritual leaders step into the spotlight — I’ve seen how even the most heart-centered, humble entrepreneurs can land press when they’re clear, confident, and consistent.

Here’s how you can start doing the same.

Why the Media Wants Your Story

Let’s bust a myth right now: media isn’t only for celebrities and corporations. Journalists, podcast hosts, and editors are constantly looking for authentic, relatable voices — especially ones speaking to timely, relevant, or inspiring topics.

What they need:

  • Experts with lived experience or a unique approach

  • Thoughtful commentary on culture, healing, or transformation

  • Actionable tips their audience can use right away

Sound like you? Good. Let’s get to it.

Step 1: Create a One-Pager (a.k.a. Your Media Magnet)

Before you pitch, gather your essentials.Create a simple one-pager PDF or Google Doc that includes:

  • Your short bio (3–5 sentences)

  • A high-resolution headshot

  • 3–4 suggested interview or article topics

  • Links to your website and social media

  • Contact information

Step 2: Build Your Mini Media List

Start small. Choose 10–15 podcasts, blogs, or digital magazines aligned with your mission and audience.

Ask yourself:

  • Where does my ideal client already hang out?

  • What platforms already talk about themes like healing, spirituality, purpose, or transformation?

  • Do I have personal connections I can reach out to directly?

Use tools like:

  • Apple Podcasts & Spotify searches

  • Substack or Medium for niche writers

  • Instagram to find micro-media creators in your niche

Step 3: Use This 3-Line Pitch Formula

Ready to reach out? Keep it short, clear, and aligned. Here’s a simple structure I’ve used with clients — it works:

Subject line: Guest pitch: [Your topic or phrase] Hi [First Name],I’m [Your Name], a [healer/coach/guide etc.] helping [audience] with [transformation]. I’d love to contribute a guest interview or article on [topic idea], especially as it relates to [relevant issue or season]. Let me know if you’d like more info — I’d be honoured to share value with your audience.

✔ Keep it personal.✔ Mention why this topic matters now.✔ Don’t attach anything in the first email — offer it instead.

Final Tips for Soulful Visibility

  • Media visibility isn’t about ego — it’s about service.

  • Don’t wait to be “more ready.” You’re ready now.

  • One solid media appearance can open unexpected doors.

You don’t need a full PR team. You just need a clear voice, a little structure, and the courage to share your light.
